Police station Ram Munshi Bagh holds Public meeting | KNO

Srinagar;4 May 2018 (KNO) : Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh yesterday held a meeting with the inhabitants of the area. Participants were reminded about the importance of cooperation & maintaining of good relations between police & public for sustaining peace & tranquility in the area. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Nehrupark Shri Sudhanshu Verma IPS along with SHO R M Bagh Inspector Shri Mohd Issac.

The participants were advised by SDPO Nehru Park to inform the local police about the credentials of non-natives who are putting up as tenant in the area and to get them registered with the local police station. They were also advised to inform police of all the tenants presently staying in their premises, so that information is accordingly updated in the police station records.

The Officer has urged the locals to cooperate with Police in such matters so that area can be kept crime free. Moreover, the participants were suggested to stay away from criminal activities & frauds. The meeting ended on a cordial note, with the community members acknowledging the role of the police & assured of full cooperation with the police in maintaining peace & tranquility in the area.
